HOW TO SET UP BANNER ADS

Banner advertising is still a very good way of conveying your message to aspiring Internet entrepreneurs, but so many people struggle to understand exactly how to do this, get confused with the coding procedure and eventually give up on banner advertising.

This guide will explain exactly how it is done and once mastered, you can apply this to any website that allows your to place banners on their site i.e. Traffic Exchanges.

This really is so easy, once you know what you are looking for!

Any Banner Advertising will call for two pieces of information. They are:

Banner URL: This is where the image is stored.

Website URL: This is where you want your viewer to go to after clicking on the banner

Lets start by examining the code that you will be confronted with. In this case I will just use my banner code from MyPerpetualBiz. The format is similar to any website that you will come across.

Firstly, in the case of our sites, the code is under the "Promotional Center" Tab in your members area, under Banner Links.

Here is what it will look like:

<a href="http://www.myperpetualbiz.com/?id=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.myperpetualbiz.com/images/Banner1.gif" border="0"></a>

I have highlighted the specific parts of the code which you will use as follows:

Banner URL:

<a href="http://www.myperpetualbiz.com/?id=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.myperpetualbiz.com/images/Banner1.gif" border="0"></a>

Website URL:

<a href="http://www.myperpetualbiz.com/?id=1" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.myperpetualbiz.com/images/Banner1.gif" border="0"></a>

How easy is that!

Just a couple of last things to note:

1. In the above example for Website URL, the id figure is 1. That is my referral id, in your members area it will be a different letter or number.

2. Don't include the " in any of your banner advertising.

3. The concept is the same with whatever Banner Advertising you may undertake. The website URL will differ and where it says id other programs may call it refid, or something similar. It will usually be the username that you have used in that particular program
